Addictive Disorders

Do you live in constant fear? Do you need to alter your reality to get through the day? If you or someone you love has an addiction of any kind, let me help diagram a plan to incrementally overcome the challenges. Addictions are of use to our nervous systems, to keep calm, avoid, detach, and keep unconscious thoughts from becoming conscious.

When we move through life unconsciously, there is a tendency to do whatever it takes to stay numb. The alternative to being numb is feeling. Feeling requires tolerating, understanding, and even at times accepting that we are not always in control of our cicumstances. Having this knowledge and being at peace is the gift of a healthy life.

The goal of recovery is self-trust. Self trust is knowing that everything will work out as it is supposed to, and you will thrive.
