Self Trust is the Way to Go

I find the most important way to navigate through the unknowns of life is to trust yourself through them.  Treat yourself with the utmost respect.  Don’t promise yourself something and then not do it.  If you tell yourself, “I will meditate today,” and you don’t, you have reinforced a belief in you that you are not important or meaningful.  Even if it is:  “Today, I will take a shower.” Unless the world implodes on itself, take a shower.

Little acts of kindness to the self, like keeping your word to yourself, helps the world feel like a more sane place to live.  Life is much more filled with joy when you decide to make yourself your True North.

Follow through on yourself. You are your best guide.  Ask yourself this:  How am I going to use self-trust today, to navigate through this day?
