About Jean

I am committed to helping families and individuals progress through the challenges they face in their everyday lives. For over 30 years I have specialized in helping to support individuals, couples and families in dealing with relationship issues. I now specialize in trauma, grief and loss. I also treat depressive and mood disorders,  anxiety and phobic disorders, chemical dependency and eating disorders, PTSD. My practice services, but is not limited to, Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Agoura and Calabasas.

In addition to running my private practice, I have helped develop and co-lead an eating disorders unit and facilitated numerous childhood abuse recovery groups at the John Bradshaw Center at Ingleside Hospital in Los Angeles, California. I have also given many seminars on addiction recovery, mental health, life transitions, balance and well-being, as well as a lecture series following the events of 9/11.

I am a certified meditation instructor from Deepak Chopra University in Carlsbad California and currently working on Perfect Health Teacher certification Ayurveda techniques for healthful living. I am facilitating grief and loss support groups currently.

With current state licenses in both California and Virginia in Marriage and Family Therapy, I am an active clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and the Virginia Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. I have completed the Mentor Coach program, have become a Certified Mentor Coach (CMC) and also a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF).

I believe that individuals, couples, and families who feel broken or disconnected from themselves or each other need a vision towards wholeness and purpose. Through therapy, I can help you put your focus on wellness, optimism and fulfillment.
